Lee Hudson BSc (EHealth) MAAS, EIA, AIOH Lee has over 20 years’ experience in the specialist field of acoustics. She has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of projects, with specific expertise in architectural acoustics, environmental noise impact assessment for major transportation, mining, construction and industrial projects, land use and Master planning studies, building services noise assessment and control, occupational noise exposure and environmental noise policy development. Considerable experience with the acoustical design of special purpose spaces, the sound insulation of buildings to mitigate external noise intrusion and the design of noise control barriers. Lee has demonstrated ability in project planning and team management, client liaison and community relations. Having previously conducted lectures in acoustics at the University of Technology, Lee has frequently been involved with lecturing, tutoring and assisting at environmental noise assessment workshop at the University of Western Sydney. Preparation and presentation of expert evidence at Commissions of Inquiry and hearings in the Land & Environment Court. Principle author of the Noise, Vibration & Airblast Control module in the Best Practice Environmental Management in Mining series published by Environment Australia and has co-authored and presented “The Practical Solutions of Sound Control” for the NSW Division of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air-Conditioning and Heating (Inc.).
